Celebrating diversity and inclusiveness is about using the holiday celebration time with friends and family to build understanding and awareness of the traditions and beliefs of others.
Last Saturday evening VAS presented our annual Christmas in the Village featuring a cast of international solo guest artists including Jennifer Forni (soprano), Casey Robards (piano), Jose Angel Navarro (guitar), David Morse (organ), and the Eleganza String Quartet. This unique, powerful, and masterfully beautiful evening featured original arrangements by Anthony Patterson written especially for this specific cast of artists of musical masterpieces from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. Bravi tutti to all of these artists and our gratitude for an intimate evening “not only of rejoicing but of reflection!”
