The March 2024 debut of GENVAS’ latest salon concert series, From South Florida with Love! begins with a command performance featuring Sara Davis Buechner. She is one of the most vital concert pianists of our time and has been a soloist with the New York Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Sara (born David Buechner in 1964) is a transsexual American concert pianist and educator. Buechner received her undergraduate degree from Juilliard School, and received her doctorate in music from the Manhattan School of Music. An award-winning artist she made her recital debut at Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival. Mrs. Buechner resides in Philadelphia and is a Professor at Temple University.
Tonight’s concert is lovingly dedicated to the memory of the legendary classical pianist and GENVAS Renaissance Angel, Lili Kraus.
